I haven't actually seen how far away I am from home.

Beautiful.

I really enjoy my Humanities class.

Our first assignment was to write our definition of beauty.

I have always known what I thought was beautiful, but I never wrote it down before.

So here's what I came up with...

I define beauty as something that takes your breath away. Something you can't look away from and don't stop thinking about. For me, I see beauty in a polaroid picture. I feel beauty when I listen to Frank Sinatra's voice. Beauty creates an emotion inside of you that make your heart flutter and your soul sing. Beauty is sand between your toes and the first snow fall of the year. To me, beauty makes you think and wonder. It's the best form of inspiration.

What is your definition of beauty?

Pensive.

If I could make 3 wishes in this very moment I would ask for...

A big, furry puppy to cuddle with,

the ability to make awesome art like this ^,

& a braid.

Impatient.

But it's getting better with each passing day.

Patience is a virtue I need more practice with.

I'm stuck in between a rock and a hard place.

I love California.

The sun, sand, space.

Everything is so picturesque,

and really scary.

I have never been so alone.

I knew I would feel like an alien but I never thought I would be sad about it.

I find myself wondering what the hell I am doing here.

I never knew how much I relied on my family and friends until now.

Now when I don't have either of them.

It feels like I'm drowning.

I just need one friend.

Or even just one hug.

Fresh.

Ain't it the truth?!

Unreal.

My next adventure begins tomorrow.

please don’t let me get trapped in an opera-singing, tofu-eating world

Where everyone is pale yellow & looks the same

I want to live in a world that is cool & casual

Where nobody has to worry what other people think

I can’t imagine living in a Barbie world where everyone wears big frilly skirts, fluffy dresses, & high heels

Help me to live in a world with Rock & roll, silk pajamas, church bells & tacos

I wrote this poem in the 8th grade.

It's funny how some things never change.

Without.

Boy,

I'm already a fool

for you.

Optimistic.

I start the first day of my last week of work tomorrow.

So even though it's a Monday, I'm excited.

I hope you are looking forward to the week ahead.
