Vivacious.

"Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive & go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."

Untame.

Now that I have short hair again, mornings have become much more entertaining. I usually wake up with some pretty crazy hair but this morning was by far the best...
[please ignore my lack of make-up]
Kinda scary, but a part of me wanted to wear it like this all day.

Happy Monday!

Upbeat.

My apologies for being a sucky blogger lately.
Here's some stuff that's been going on in my life recently:

School
Studying for midterms have taken over my life.
He's all I've been listening to for the past 5 days. I'm obsessed.
Art History
I know I'm a nerd, but I don't care. I LOVE IT.
Photography
I've cooked up some ideas for some summer photo shoots that I can't wait to try out.
Spring Break
I'm going to MEXICO! Yep, with my friend Caroline.
In 6 days we will be on our way to Cancun for a whole week!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend.

Open.

Do you ever find songs that say exactly what you are feeling when you can't find the words to say them yourself?
Or songs that seem to describe you at that exact moment in time when you didn't think it was possible?
What about those lyrics that manage to jump out & change the way you look at things?

Do you get what I'm saying?
Anyways, if you care to know, this little tune is a good representation of me right now.
{& if not... just enjoy the music}

Groovy.

I just came to the realization that this may be one of the sexiest songs in the universe.

Zealous.

Look what I found:
haha!
I can't wait to start working with you again this summer, Olivia.
I miss you!

Agog.

Dear Jack,
I love the way your voice randomly appears & effortlessly speaks to my soul.
Thank you.

Soft.

Isn't this the most precious photo in the world?
Looking at it about brings me to tears.
As a few of you know,
I've pretty much always been turned off to the idea of having babies.
The whole process freaks me out.
Entirely.
My plan was to be the cool Aunt to my brothers' & sister's children
(& that was it)
But after seeing this picture I have been thinking about it
(although pregnancy still freaks me out)
& I find the end result will be quite rewarding.
+
Now, just to be clear, this whole motherhood scene I envision for myself will not be happening for a very, very, VERY long time.

I have to conquer the world first.

Pitiful.

I have a new crush:
Max Irons
(Red Riding Hood)
This crush of mine is purely for the most shallow of reasons
but seriously come on,
LOOK AT HIM!
+
Did I mention he's British?
& 6'3

Yeah.

Thunderstruck.

Jennifer Lopez premiered the music video for her new single "On The Floor" tonight at The Grove.
& guess who was there...
Yep, those are my moccasins.
(on J-Lo's red carpet!)
Not only did my friends & I get to stand 10 feet away from Mrs. Anthony,
but we got to dance in a surprise flash mob.
Yeah.
(Watch Extra tomorrow night to see the show)

SoCal is fun.

Ridiculous.

If you don't laugh at this, there is something wrong with you.

Venerate.

Tonight, my friend Caroline & I went to a lecture by Joan Rivers!
& I have to tell you, she is one funny broad.
Seriously.
I don't know what it is about hearing old people swear a lot, but I love it.
Joan swore like a sailer & I couldn't get enough.
Her story was a great one to hear.
"Keep going until something good happens."
