I am back at MSUM.

I had a truly amazing Thanksgiving break.

After sitting in the backseat between two guys for 4 hours last Tuesday, I made it home and it felt sort of surreal being there. I loved it. I chatted with my parents and my sister for a while and then two of my greatest friends came over. For about 3-4 hours we just sat and talked (along with torturing Mandy's boyfriend). It was really nice to see their faces and hear their voices. It was a really comforting time because we didn't do anything and it was so fun! That is the best part of seeing old friends.

Wednesday was pretty eventful for me. I got to take my sister to school in the morning and then I met up with another friend to go back to our High School and visit the best teacher EVER! Mrs. Bishop. I hadn't been in that building since I graduated to it was really weird coming back and being "those college kids" that the seniors whisper about. After that it was time for me to FINALLY get my hair cut! I am so pleased with the result, I think I am going to keep this one for a long time...but I always say that. Then (oh yeah there's more) I went shopping with some more great friends. Not only did I get some great deals at Gap but there was good conversation as well. After shopping I can back to town and hang out with a different friend. It really was a perfect day. I am looking forward to many more like it over X-mas break.

For the rest of the weekend I spent my time at home, catching up with my family. We rented movies, went out to eat and relaxed. It was so nice. There really is nothing like home.

It was really hard for me to pack my stuff back up and leave NP this morning. If I could have I would have stayed forever.

Don't get me wrong I love college, and being on my own but my heart is at that little brown house on top of the hill, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thank the heavens above that I don't have to wait long until I go back for X-mas break.

19 days.

I think I can handle that.

Well since Thanksgiving is almost upon us I thought I would make a list of what I am thankful for:

1. My Parents : I would be completely lost without all three of them.

2. My Brothers : They are wonderful role models, I aspire to be as good of a person as they both are.

3. My Sister : I am thankful for her simple, loving letters. They always put a smile on my face.

4. Olivia Wagner : Who taught me everything I know and without whom I would not be so positive about my future with photography.

5. Hannah Honeyman : My first college friend/internal twin. I would be very lonely here without her. Also I am thankful that she shares her Wheat Thins with me.

6. Summit Entertainment : The people that gave New Moon life :)

7. My job : I work on campus in Disability Services, it helps not to be extremely poor and it is a wonderful opportunity.

8. Ramen Noodles : Need I say more?!

9. High School Friends : I am extremely thankful for those of you who have kept in touch even only after these few short months

10. My Macbook : She's my pride and joy, and like my parents, I would be lost without her.

College is brutal, or at least the work load is. Homework seems to be piling up by the tons. I am trying to remember to breath and take things one day at a time but nothing ever seems to let up. Every minute I take a minute to relax I feel that much more behind.

Welcome to adulthood.

To my surprise I have had a great weekend.

I went to Saver's (my new favorite store) on Friday and got a bunch of cute cheap stuff. Saturday went downtown and got some awesome shots that I am going to incorporate into some x-mas presents :) Last night I had an amazing dream about John Mayer, (mmmmmmmm) and today the plan is to take my time and get some homework done.

But my dream made me think that I should make a list of what I like in a guy. So here we go (in no particular order) :

- nice hair

-tall

- deep, smooth voice

- has dreams and goals of his own

- pretty eyes

- confident (not cocky)

- interested in music (good singers & piano players get bonus points)

- likes sports/is athletic

- can make me laugh

- can laugh at himself

- down to earth

-doesn't smoke or chew tobacco (yuck >:P)

- good teeth are pretty important

- has a sexy accent (not required but recommended)

- has style

- likes chinese food

-someone who I can be dorky with

- romantic

- creative & fun

- likes me
